Righteousness is the ability to stand before God or in his presence without a sense of guilt, condemnation or inferiority. It is the ability to stand in fellowship with God and having His rightness in our spirit. It is also the ability to stand before the devil as a master over him and all his works. Enwrapped within righteousness is everything for which humanity has craved. It unfolds the riches of His grace to a Christian. A Christian is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21).There is no other way to come into this extraordinary life of righteousness and oneness with the Lord except through the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:8). No man has a son relationship with God outside of Christ.
A Christian became righteous the moment he accepted and confesses the Lordship of Jesus Christ over his life, believing that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10).He received Eternal Life and became righteous. He is now a partaker of the Divine Nature of God (2 Peter 1:4),so he is righteous by nature, having Eternal Life, the life and nature of God, and righteous by faith (Romans 3:22.)God, Himself has become his righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21 King James Version (KJV)
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
The object of righteousness is to restore to man, perfect Fellowship with Father-God, This is the same type of Fellowship Jesus had. Righteousness restores to man all that he lost in the fall in the Garden of Eden, plus a new relationship as a Son with all its privileges. Man can now have access to God, being the righteousness of God. He has limitless of God’s righteousness. Jesus was delivered to death for our sins and was raised to life for us to become righteous (Romans 4:25).
When a man who was a partaker in the nature of Satan becomes righteous, having received the life and nature of God, Eternal Life, and he understands that he has become God’s righteousness in Christ and walk in the consciousness of this righteousness
- He would have faith in his prayer, knowing that God hears him because he has access to Father-God presence.
- He would have no sense of lack of money, lack of love, lack of knowledge or lack of ability in any line.
- He would no longer have a sense of fear, no longer afraid of bills, no longer afraid of circumstances.
- He would become entirely independent of circumstances.
- He would no longer be held in bondage to want and poverty any longer.
- He would no longer be afraid of what the day may bring.
- He would not be sick any longer.
- He would have no sense of Sin-Consciousness, no Inferiority complex
- He would have the sweetest most perfect Fellowship with the Father.
- He would become conscious of his success and victory in Christ
- He would reign as king in this realm of life.
